As a licensed aesthetician certified in oncology skincare, a former patient services professional with UT Medical Center, and the owner of The Shed Spa, she understands firsthand what it takes to thrive in today’s beauty and wellness industry. Her diverse background and real-world insight allow her to connect deeply with students while preparing them for meaningful, successful careers

At CSBA, Melissa plays a pivotal role in supporting students through every stage of their training. She assists with hands-on learning, technique development, and State Board practical preparation, ensuring each student feels confident and capable in their skills. Her calm guidance and approachable mentorship help create the welcoming, judgment-free environment CSBA is known for.

 

Beyond her educational support, Melissa also serves as the creative mind behind much of CSBA’s media presence. She develops and curates classroom content, manages visuals for marketing, and brings a fresh, modern perspective to the school’s brand identity. Her dual strengths in education and digital media allow her to help students not only learn the craft of aesthetics but also build the professional and technological skills needed to succeed in a competitive industry.
